I’m Glad She Is Home

After a few long, hard and emotional days I am glad to say that my car is back in my possession. I am not going to go into much detail on all the other stuff going on but this is going to be a long process.

A lawyer, an insurance adjuster and also the police are going to all be involved in this long road ahead of me, but I assure you I will come out of this with a clear conscience and also a beautiful car, that I do know.

3 years ago when I started this, this is not what I had in mind one bit. I was excited, ready and also financially comfortable for the restoration. When I sent her to the body shop I had the money I needed for the job already saved up. Like many,  I worked plenty of overtime and saved my pennies for years. That money was not dedicated to the car specifically, however, was there to use for things such as this. Spend a little on the car, make a little extra that month I am sure you all know the process.

However now with how it sits I am looking at the original estimate plus about 6-8K more. To be honest with all of you I am fucked. No really I am.

I reached out on Facebook and was overwhelmed with the support, purchases but most of all the endearing comments and private messages. That is why I do what I do with my business. I love it when people get excited for their items I make them and I love it when they post up pictures and little blurbs about how cool their new product is or how happy they are with it. That there is why I do what I do and what keeps me going!

So with that being said I would like to THANK all of you from the bottom of my heart. THANK YOU! Without those comments and pm’s I don’t know where I would be and that is the truth.

I would also like to send some personal thank yous  out to a few individuals who aided in getting me the funds needed to bring the car home. Within a couple hours of posting a for sale ad on a Facebook group I had raised just enough money to pay for the tow.

Alex Robb, Alex Hagger, Roxana Langham and Shawn Bryan from the bottom of my heart I thank you for your purchase and offerings. Honestly without those sales I wouldn’t have been able to comfortably spend the money to bring my car home. I am so thankful for your support.

I am a pretty proud individual. It takes a lot for me to ask for help or to even know when I need help. Now I am definitely in need of a little help.

With that being said, I will not sit here and ask for money, that’s just not me. What I will ask is that if you are in the market for a shift knob or ebrake button for your car please consider purchasing from me!! As stated before I specialize in Scion, Toyota and Subaru however it is a pretty simple process to make one for your car I am sure.

Head on over to my Fab Shop and check it out and let me know what you are looking for!

So with all that I leave you with this.

Life is short and can be hard at times. As we grow we learn and as we learn we grow. Surround yourself with people who care about you and know that things will eventually turn around for you. Don’t give up, keep grinding but most importantly keep your head up!!

If you would like to donate a little something you can below. It is not necessary however many people have asked me to setup a Go Fund Me account but I just don’t feel comfortable doing so.
